Saw that Maris Stella school?
Stella owns this school! =)
The brown rounded thing is a one-cent coins.
Can you imagine how many 1-cent is needed for this pane?
An great artisan who had produced this.

What a meaningful day!
Goodnight people!
I had spend my day meaningfully with clique and friends.
And had earned 4 hours of CIP!
Exhausted but its all worthwhile.
Trained down to SPCA centre to do some volunteer work.
They organised 'The SPCA Flag Day'.
Volunteers have to go around with a tin and encourage donators to make a donation for the SPCA's company.
This tin is to collect all they money which were donated.
It was request for funds to support the various animal welfare services carried out by the society.
As we knew that SPCA was not supported by government.
They have to get worried over financial.
Therefore, they had to live on with the help of a group of charitable donators.
I had a huge responsible given by Ching Yulin.
Ching Yulin requested me to take a photo of 'button'.
This is 'button'!
The first time we visited, Mangling and Yulin was so fond of her!
They even had an urge to get her during the first visit but due to some reason, they decided not to.
But, when i went inside,'button' was no where to be seen.
Mangling and Yulin must be so disappointed about it!
But to a positive side,
I guess an kind-hearted owner had adopted her back and take care of her.
Hope she is well-fed by the owner and enjoying her life right now.
Clique and friends stay put inside for somewhile.
A dog called 'ELMO' caught our attention!
He is so lively, adorable, make Gabie and me adored him so much.
He licked our toes and twirl around us.
Arghhh.
I miss him!
We left the SPCA centre and headed down to Bishan to try our luck, hoping that we can collect as much money.
But,
Luck wasn't on our side.
There are our volunteers there.
So we changed over to Amk hub.
We stayed put there till 4.15pm and trained back to SPCA's centre.
Many nice experiences we encountered.
For Meijun's case.
There's one aunty, she is hilarious.
Meijun approached her and ask her to donate some coins.
The aunty stopped by and went digging coins from her handbag.
That aunty took so long to dig up her coins.
Meijun waited for her patiently.
When the aunty knew that this donations is for SPCA.
She said "I don't like animals", and just walked away!
Its interesting to encounter such experience.
But some kind donators, when they heard that those donations is for SPCA, they won't mind dropping all their coins into the tin.
This is how realistic Singaporeans are.
Sometime, you will feel great when doing charity work.
Though you were not hourly paid and cash won't be given.
But a litle small contribution could help others to tackle their problems.

  • Love and kindness are never wasted. They always make a difference. They bless the one who receives them, and they bless you, the giver ~Barbara De Angelis
Ciao! =)
