4 days 3 nights camp

Hi humans. I'm back from camps 9 hours ago.
I would say that this is the worst camp ever I had in my Secondary school life.
Though it was the worst camp ever,still I had picked up some learning points through this camp.
Basically, this camp involved on trekking & expenditon.
Learning points to take note : Endurance & Persistence. Without this, nobody can survive through this 3 nights.
It was really a long walk from one point to another but somehow during the journey, we took public transport to reach our destination.
Let me summarise up what we had done during this 3 nights.

Day 1
The first night was in school. So many activites was held in school. 4 total groups we have. It goes by our register number so all the odd number was in one group whereas even number were grouped together.My group which we named as SINGAMOH have many jokers & clowns so many laughters were found inside this group (Especially Rully & Zhi Xiang).
Sat down as a group to discuss about our objectives & strategies.
Some ice-breaking game played & after that down for lunch.
Lessons given to prepare ourselves for the next 3 nights.We got to learn how to read a map with the grid number given. Learn how to use a compass if we are lost in the jungle.Learn how to pitch our tents for our shelter. Learn how to start a fire using leaves & stems for our food consumption. So all these takes up our whole afternoon.After which,we sat down as a group to discuss about the food that we need to purchase for the next 2 days.
After dinner, our 2 main chef (Rully & Zhi xiang) went off to the hypermarket with other group's chef to purchase our stuffs.
A small amazing race being played at night to identify which will get to leave first the following day.
A day had passed unexpectedly.



Second day
Off to Pulau Ubin on our own.Had to carry our own bags, the tents & the food consumptions that we bought. It was really HEAVY!
My group took bus 109 to the Jetty point. A small single deck bus was squeezed with 40 plus of people. Reached there, took a ferry to Pulau Ubin.Our expedition starts here. We got to walk with our bulky big bags.Reached a checkpoint & pitch our tents. Outdoor cooking for lunch.Instant noodles & Canned food to fill our tummy!!!Took quite a long time to set our fire but we managed to have our lunch.Worth while.
After lunch,we went off with our trekking around Pulau Ubin. Walked for hours & hours to reach our checkpoint. Damn tiring but we survived till the end. Outdoor cooking for dinner again. But this time round, with the teamwork we have, our fire started real fast & we get to have our Spaghetti & it was really nice.Candle war after dinner. I guess this is one of the exciting game that we enjoyed. SINGAMOH came up with many plans to attack other groups.Though some were failed but we manage to blow off our opponent's candle.This add up to our bonding! ;D
2 days had passed unexpectedly.



Third day
Headed back to the Jetty point. Expendition again. Had to walk from Changi to Kallang. SINGAMOH took bus transport & was penalized. Some miscommunications & we were not supposed to take any transports so we have to bear our consequences in the later part.
Reached a particular check-point. Find the clues for 1 hour but yet the clues were nowhere to be seen. Other groups came to find too. Frustrated! So we were asked to take bus to Kallang for our dragon boat (Cool!).
Second exciting activities. Never know that Dragon boating can be tiring!Arm were numbs after peddaling so hard. But still everyone puts a thumb up for this activity.
Continued our expenditure to Sarimbu Scouts camp.Took a bus from Chua Chu Kang interchange. The whole class 5N1 have to walk quite a long distance as for our punishment for taking a bus transport during the race.
Campfire with the Sec4. The campfire was a disappointment. The anxiey was not there. The enthusiastic was not 'high' enough.There's goes a day.

Fourth day
Packed up, washed up. Prize giving session was given. SINGAMOH won for being the 'The best group'. And then, we headed back to our school.
Tired~ Tired~ Tired~



Apparently, through this camps, I have known that there are many kinds of people in this world. There are people who just sit down & do nothing. Even when you have encounter a problem, they will just walk off pretending that they didn't know anything. Moreover, there are people who surprise you. They will help you when in need. Take care of you when you are not feeling well. Ensure your safety comes first.This plays an important role for a team to endure for this 3 tough nights.
So till then here, I appreciated 'SINGAMOH' for the great teamwork.I'm pretty sure we have a great time bonding with one another.All the Laughters,Pranking & Giggling will be kept as a memories.
Lets work real hard for our upcoming 'O' levels. Study together if we can.
