              12/02/10 The best dinner we had together with Netballers, Soccer boys & Mr D. We were honoured enough to be invited by Mr D. to his Chinese New Year's dinner. He organised & the plans went through smoothly. The gals watched their match and of course support them. They played with Geylang United under 18. It was a hectic game with all the physical contacts. But they won, a nearly 1-0. Well-played indeed. Performances was performed by alumni & the 'B' division boys. They danced 'Bad Romance' & '3'. Funny, hilarious , creative. I put a thumb-ups for their performance. They create a skit and Zul imitated Mr D. The gals laughed really loud. Videos was recorded and was uploaded into my facebook. Alot people comment a 'like' on their videos. But majority was comment by the boys. We had buffet. After which we stayed up to help them clear the premises. Great job people. RANDOM PICTURES!              Brought to you by my dearest netballers ;D Just an hour, it will be 14th Feb. An important date for all couples in this world. And a special day for the Chinese people. Coincidentally, Chinese New Year & Valentine's day falls on the same date. I was wondering how young couples are going to celebrate their Valentine's day? Will they choose to spend with their boyfriend more or will they choose to pay a visit to their grandparents house & collect red packets? Too me, i will choose to celebrate Chinese New Year over Valentine's day. The reason is very simple, you can celebrate with your loved ones everyday, why must it be on the 14th of Feb? Whereas Chinese New Year is totally different. Its a once a year occasion whereby you can have reunion dinner with your grandparents, relatives and family. You can contact with your long lost relatives. Its such a amazing occasion. But... After my maternal grandparents had passed away, Chinese New Year seem meaningless to me. I do not have the mood to celebrate. I find it a boredom to go to my relatives house. basically, you will just sit down there doing nothing or snacking up on those goodies. There won't be so much of interacting in the house unlike when my grandparents were around, many talkings had been made and the house will be very noisy. The world is changing. The generation is changing too. The end. P.s: Yesterday's night was the best Valentine's present you had given. I was hoping so much that you will be there and indeed you appeared right infront of me. We smiled, we had an eye-contact. You texted me after that. Seriously, this is just wat I am hoping for. A simple crush. |
