Huiting's belated + last Friday night

                         Caught up with my secondary class-mates on a wonderful Wednesday. Celebrated Huiting's belated birthday too. Really need to apologise to her for coming up a small celebration. Barely just dinner only. Everyone is so busy with their own life. It is hard to gather everyone to organise a grand party. But anyway, Happy 19th (: Before meeting up the rest, I headed all the way down to Ngee Ann to look for Xiaoting and Edwin. It was rather a long journey down to their school. Without any i-pod with me, it made more journey more miserable. So I was walking all the way to Ngee Ann's library, I checked-out on the girls in the school. How on earth am I checking out on girls? LOL. I should be the one eyeing on the guys. But anyway, So many pretty babes in the school. All of them know how to dress up well unlike Nanyang student. *CROSS FINGER. Hehehehe. Oh yes, everyone waited for Abel until.... our neck grow longer?! We waited for him until 7-ish and set off to Nex to meet the rest. Had our dinner at LENAS recommended by me. Delicious food but comes with less quantity. Dinner out and everyone took our group photo and bid goodbye. Oh yes, gonna meet them out on Monday night to celebrate Abel's 19th. Miss them <3 FRIDAY NIGHT WITH THE GIRLS         Girl's out was another awesome one on Friday. Caught 'The lucky one' with them at Nex. The rating I gave will be 4/5. Not so bad afterall. Just that it a bit draggy. But the main thing is... ZAC EFRON! Chey, he looks hunk in the movie. HAHAHAHA. The storyline of this movie: Logan is a marine serving in Iraq. While there, he finds a photo of a girl with "be safe" written on the back. He is admiring it when his unit is attacked. He survives and credits the photo for saving him. He tries to find the owner but can't, assuming he was killed. When he goes back to the States, he finds it difficult to adjust and is still haunted by what happened. Analyzing the photo, he finds in the background a landmark that tells him she is in Louisiana. He then goes there and finds her. He learns her name is Beth. He tries to tell her what happened but can't get the words out. She assumes he's there to apply for the job they advertised looking for someone to help at her family's business, a dog kennel. He says yes but at first she gets an uneasy feeling from him but her grandmother decides to give him a chance. It isn't long that he makes a connection with her son.. Everyone should go and watch (: Another movie to recommend: The perfect two. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J7LpWRzSMXc&feature=player_embedded  Storyline: Zai Zai is a man who is waiting around for his ex-wife to return to him, even going so far as posting flyer for his “runaway wife.” She returns six years later asking a favor, to take care of the son she never told him she had after she left him. Ella appears to be his neighbor who finds herself taking care of him and being annoyed that he treats her like a servant. Xiao Xiao Bin arrives and the father-son bond without the kid knowing Zai Zai is his father. Time comes for Xiao Xiao Bin to return to his mother and head to the US. Kid cries to leave Zai Zai, who steels his heart to push him away so he can live a better life with his mother. Zai Zai then resumes his motorbike racing career. I'm so going to catch this film <3 |
